El 32% del consumo global de energ\u00eda se utiliza en la industria, y el 74% de este consumo energ\u00e9tico se destina a la producci\u00f3n de calor, seg\u00fan la <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.idae.es\/publicaciones\/guia-de-energia-solar-termica-de-concentracion-para-procesos-industriales\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asociaci\u00f3n mundial de Energ\u00eda<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (AIE). Dos tercios de este calor se destina a alimentar procesos con temperatura superior de 150\u00baC, como la destilaci\u00f3n, coloraci\u00f3n, blanqueado, o los procesos de transformaci\u00f3n de materiales. La gr\u00e1fica de Orennia arriba muestra una descomposici\u00f3n m\u00e1s detallada al consumo de diferentes sectores, junto con su importancia en las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La energ\u00eda solar concentrada (CSP por sus letras en ingl\u00e9s) est\u00e1 perfectamente posicionada para el suministro de calor hasta 500\u00baC. Gracias a esto, es particularmente relevante para industrias que representan hasta el 15% de las emisiones globales de CO<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> como:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pl\u00e1sticos y qu\u00edmica\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Papel,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Procesamiento de alimentos,\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Textiles<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En Espa\u00f1a, las tecnolog\u00edas limpias para procesos industriales juegan un rol importante en estos sectores por el consumo el\u00e9ctrico y la utilizaci\u00f3n de biomasa para aportar calor. Sin embargo, los combustibles f\u00f3siles (en la gran mayor\u00eda gas natural junto con peque\u00f1as cantidades el carb\u00f3n y los derivados del petr\u00f3leo) proporcionaron<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/data-and-statistics\/data-product\/world-energy-balances#data-sets\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> entre 40% y 76% de la energ\u00eda en 2021<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, seg\u00fan el gr\u00e1fico de la AIE abajo. En este \u00e1mbito, disponemos de tecnolog\u00edas de almacenamiento con tanques de agua, sales fundidas o aceites t\u00e9rmicos, as\u00ed como sistemas de almacenamiento con hormig\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El CSP trae muchos beneficios en la industria. No s\u00f3lo reducir\u00eda las emisiones de CO<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, pero tambi\u00e9n subir\u00eda la eficiencia energ\u00e9tica en estos procesos industriales. El suministro de calor sostenible y fiable producido localmente reducir\u00eda la dependencia de importes de gas natural del extranjero y la exposici\u00f3n al shock de precios. Lo \u00faltimo, es especialmente importante para la rentabilidad de las industrias, algo que volvimos a tener presente en 2022 con la invasi\u00f3n rusa en Ucrania y la crisis que esto desat\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al integrar la CSP, podemos crear un futuro m\u00e1s limpio y sostenible para los procesos industriales.
